Where to Purchase For Yourself

You may decide that you want to work on a project at home, or create something that you will keep. Here are some places to purchase the materials and tools we use in class. I use the first three quite often.

Adafruit - This store carries Arduino, FLORA, Raspberry Pi, and a variety of accessories and parts.
Makershed - This is the official store for MAKE magazine. Here you can find electronics, 3D printers, robotics, tools and more.
Sparkfun - Similar to Makershed, this store has everything electronic.
Acrobotic - This site is hosted by local makers (Pasadena), and provides supplies similar to those above.
Squishy Circuit Store - Order your own Squishy Circuit kit.
Electronics Goldmine - If you are looking for that hard to find part for an electronics project, this may be the place for you.
All Electronics - Another vendor of electronics components.
Jameco - Electronics components and kits.
Inventables - This store carries higher end tools like laser cutters and 3D printers, as well as materials like fabrics, wood and glass.
Evil Mad Scientist - Use EMS to find cool and interesting electronics projects and kits.
American Science & Surplus - Discover hard to find materials, parts, and equipment here, along with something for your next science project.
LittleBits - Order your own LittleBits kit and accessories here at the official store.
DF Robot - You can find great deals on sensors, motors, e-textiles and much more at this electronics e-store.
Seeedstudio - This store carries various electronics components and tools.
RobotShop - All things robot!
A Main Hobbies - RC vehicles and parts.
Horizon Hobby - RC vehicles and parts.
Pololu - Robotics and electronic components.
